Chadha had earlier built a strong reputation among youth as a “Gen Z hero,” particularly for raising everyday issues in Parliament such as gig workers’ rights, paternity leave, and telecom and data policy. Raghav Chadha, formerly with the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), officially joined the BJP on April 24 along with Harbhajan Singh, Sandeep Pathak, Ashok Mittal, Swati Maliwal, Rajinder Gupta, and Vikramjit Singh Sahney. The move marks one of the most significant political shifts in recent times.
The leaders joined the BJP in the presence of party figures including Nitin Nabin and Tarun Chugh, a key leader in Punjab politics.
