A Bangladeshi national Saniur Rahman has been arrested from Laxman Jhula, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand after he was found to be living illegally in Bharat. He had entered via Nepal and obtained fake Aadhar Card, living under the name Satyanishtha Arya since 2018.

Hate speeches while posing as a Hindu religious peacher

Saniur Rahman, who first claimed to be an atheist, has consistently propagated communal narrative under the guise of being Hindu through his videos and posts. His hate speeches targeted Muslims and Christians where he also sought funds. The matter is currently under investigation.
